This torsion bar is perfect for compensating for the additional weight that comes with your T8 Ranger tailgate storage.

Your standard tailgate has a dead-lift weight of approximately 4.5 lbs with the OEM torsion bar. After installing our tailgate storage the dead lift weight will be about 24 lbs.

By installing our heavy duty torsion bar you will return the lift weight to approximately 5.5 lbs.
